I’ve had such a laugh this week working with my friend Nicola, to show you how to do 5 simple hairstyles for school. I’m always being asked to do hairstyles that are quick and easy to do, so I’ve tried to do the most simplest of plaits, then used the plait as a base to create 5 different looks for each day of school.
This is my lovely friend Nicola with her daughter Amber, who was absolutely brilliant all the way through making this! I’ve got to say we had planned to do this all over the school holidays, but you know how it is, there’s always a million other things going on! We managed to do this the day before Amber was going back to school, so got there in the end!
As we started everything that could go wrong… Did! Bear in mind we’re not be no means movie makers! and Nicola is just in the process of having the whole of the downstairs being renovated. As we started to film we had Simbar, Nicola’s huge cuddly dog, heavily panting up and down! Harrison, Nicola’s son, laughing at us all trying to film. Then Nicola’s hubby coming home for lunch, making us laugh in between, whilst chomping on his sandwich! Then a surprise guest…Finn joining in chatting to his pal Harrison, and winding Amber up at the same time!… Oh and I run out of storage on my phone, Nicola had no storage on her phone and we had to plug in the iPad to charge whilst trying to film! So I think a huge round of applause for Nicola actually completing the video at all was a small miracle! 🙂 haha
Getting back to the 5 simple hairstyles, these are just a few samples of Nicola’s handmade bespoke hair accessories. They are excellent quality and really hard wearing, which I think is brilliant for school. Nicola has her own company N-Reso and takes order’s big or small if you want to check out her website here’s a link http://www.nreso.co.uk/
