How time flies, It seems like only yesterday our little man was celebrating his 1st birthday, and today he is 19 months old, where does the time go?!
I remember that I wanted to do something special but wanted to keep his birthday small and intimate. I was so lucky that my local gym had just started to do afternoon teas and I thought, how perfect!
The Crow wood Lounge couldn’t do enough to help. They helped me every step of the way, from organising the balloons, setting out the tables, choosing the cake. I only had to confirm the numbers and they did all the rest.
The afternoon tea was amazing, delicious miniature sandwiches, fish pie, scotch egg & salad, the top tier had a lovely assortment of cakes and macaroons all presented on a quaint little picnic bench. Even though everything was miniature there were plenty to go round, the food was excellent and really filling. When all the picnic benches were all on the tables it looked great, I was really impressed.
After everyone had eaten the kids could play outside, everyone had such a lovely afternoon and watching the kids run round having fun was the icing on the cake!
It was a perfect afternoon, one I will never forget, spending quality time with all our family and making magical memories together, well there is nothing that compares to that. James Joseph had a ball, no stress, no washing up after everyone had finished, just perfect! I would defiantly recommend this to anyone thinking of doing something special for a family occasion, http://crowwood.com/the-lounge/afternoon-tea/
I’m so looking forward to planning his next birthday, and before I know it will be here, so better get a move on! Enjoy your magical moments with your little ones!
