After such a hectic week and a few sleepless nights as our little man has been full of a cold, we’ve had a fun packed weekend starting Friday evening catching up with friends, Saturday afternoon being invited to our friend Harrys 2nd birthday party at Kiddy Chaos where James went back to full throttle loving every minute, running wild in the play centre. The kids had loads of fun and plenty of cake! :). So an early Sunday morning walk in park with plenty of fresh air was just what we all needed.
We had loads of fun in the park James is just getting so much better at climbing there’s no stopping him now! I do feel my heart go in my month sometimes but I’m sure all us mum’s do most days! with this amazing yet challenging toddler stage haha. The time goes so fast and before we knew it our belly’s were rumbling ready for lunch. After we’d all eaten and James had had his nap we were all ready for round two, as it was such a lovely afternoon we headed down by the river 🙂
Daddy showed James how to skim stones across the river and there was no stopping him, I think he threw half the stones off the embankment trying to do it! so funny.
A final blast on the park before we headed off to catch up with our friends Cindy and Chris who were trying out there new garden furniture which James instantly loved.
I love Sundays when the sun is shining and you can spend the whole day with your family not worrying about what needs to be done and no where specific to be, these days are just the best!. I’m enjoying a lovely cuppa with a mini Battenberg just to end my lovely day 🙂 Hope you’ve had a lovely Sunday.
