What a fantastic weekend we’ve just had catching up with friends and family and enjoying my 2nd Mothers Day, which I still pinch myself everyday to check I’m not dreaming 😉 the weather has been brill so we decided to head off to the seaside for some fresh air and fun!James Joseph is ready for the off all full of fun, just need him to sit in his car seat, which is getting harder every trip but we do eventually get him strapped in. If I’ve got a little advice, and believe me I’m no expert just learning as I go along, it would be to pack extra nappies, a change of clothing, snacks, and your little ones favourite toys my sons favourites at the moment are little trains and cars that he can carry in his bucket he takes them everywhere…so cute now with all that done we’re ready for the off yay!
It was great to be out on the beach in Lytham St Annes, as its not too far away and easy to park up, James Joseph could run in and out under the pier and play in the sand to his hearts content picking up all different kinds of shells, building sand castles, just enjoying the feel of the sand running through his fingers, oh and listening to me singing “oh I do like to be beside the seaside oh I do like to be beside the sea”, so funny!
I don’t think there’s anything nicer than sitting on the beach playing with the sand and listening to the sea watching the world go by, it’s like time as stood still, I love it and so does my hubby and son. We had loads of fun running up and down on the beach just enjoying the beautiful day together just wish we had more days like these.
We all worked up a real appetite and found a great little café that served fresh sandwiches, cakes and great coffee, just what we needed to recharge our batteries. James Joseph was falling asleep while eating his lunch bless him, so we decided to head home and by the time we got back he was ready to do it all over again, don’t you wish you could bottle up all that energy our little ones have, its amazing! Here he is playing in his den ready for round two! We’ve had a fab day beside the seaside and at home playing in the garden making the most of this beautiful day. Here’s to a great summer and making lots more seaside memories.
Love

April 25, 2017 at 8:59 pmAw Mandy little James is so adorable, we still love a walk on the beach although the boys insist on chips at the seaside. I remember the days when we had to wrestle them into their car seats ha ha x
