I can’t believe our little man has turned 2 today it just flies by doesn’t it! I wanted to do something exciting and have been looking at themed birthday parties to have in the garden but just couldn’t pin down one that I thought “that’s the one.” So I started to look at something we could do as a family and that James would love.Celebrating our sons 2nd birthday in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers Resort just seemed the perfect choice!
From the moment we arrived and entered the park via the monorail, James face was a picture he was in ore of everything around him which melted my heart I couldn’t help but smile 🙂 We had uploaded E tickets prior to arriving which made it really quick and easy to enter the park.
Our first port of all was the Something Special sensory garden which has a trail of Mr Tumbles spotty bags to expore. James really liked Grandad Tumbles shed as you can hear him snoring when you walk passed which made James stop to try and find him then giggled every time he heard a snore saying “Daddy” so funny!
Riding in Postman pats van through Greendale seeing all the favourite residents as you drive along.
Hopping on the numtums number-go-round.
James meeting Tree Fu Tom entering his training camp, he couldn’t stop staring so cute! then as soon as we entered its like a mini adventure park to explore and climb loads of fun for the kids and Daddy!
In the night gardens magical boat ride was so special all the characters come to life as you sail pass them, which made James face light up, its just priceless!
The Furchester Hotel has a great interactive show, welcoming you with furry arms! where the little ones are mesmerised with all their favourite characters. James was up dancing in no time so much fun, unfortunately you can’t take any pics inside, which is a real shame.
Mr Blooms Allotment again gets the kids up interacting and the talking veg are great fun, would have been nice to see Mr Bloom but he was on his jollies 😉
There are loads of other things to see and do to keep you entertained at CBeebies Land we had a fantastic day and hopefully will go back and stay when the new hotel opens in July. Here’s a link for you to take a look https://www.altontowers.com/cbeebies-land/ If you can book in advance you can save £20 a ticket and under 3’s go free which is brill. Our only bug bear was that you have to pay £6 for the carpark and even though we saved on the tickets I really think the parking should be free as you can spend quite a bit on food and drinks in the resort. Not to end on a negative as we did have such an amazing day and we’ll definitely go back as it did make our sons 2nd birthday really special for us. I hope you have a great week.
Love

October 14, 2017 at 8:05 pmAww… what a great way to celebrate his 2nd Birthday! Happy Birthday James! It looks like he had a great time. We also went earlier on the year as we had free tickets from a family member and they received it from their work place. It was a corporate day out. They had a whole park to themselves! We didn’t get to see everything – only the Cbeebies land was quite enough for us. The queue was huge!! My favourite was Mr Bloom. It was awesome! I like that your husband had a go at Tree Fu Tom climbing frame too. I bet that was his highlight if the day! 🙂 xx
Thank you so much for linking up with us on #ExplorerKids xx
