I was so excited last weekend as I got the opportunity to start a new family tradition!
I love Christmas and all the festive fun that this time of year brings! Making magical memories watching the Christmas parade at Intu Trafford Centre was a perfect way to celebrate the festive season, and start a new family Christmas traditions, with a huge bang! 😉
We took a little selfie as we arrived. I love James shirt, tie and waistcoat I bought from Next as I thought it’s a great buy to mix & match over the festive season! I have to say it was so quiet so if you can get to the Trafford Centre early, it opens at 10am,with free parking. A perfect time to do all your Christmas shopping! 🙂
James face lit up with all his favourite characters standing there in real life!.He couldn’t wait to go over and hug them all, bless him. James got to meet PJ Masks, Paw Patrol (Skye & Marshall), Bing & Flop, Peppa Pig, Minions, Shimmer & Shine, and the Trolls ( Poppy & Branch). Watching James running round them all saying “Hi ya”, throwing his arms around them was just the cutest thing! I can’t thank all the staff enough at Intu Trafford Centre for making this a great family day out! 🙂
James had the best time ever, and after he had met all the character’s, he thought it was great fun to pick up all the artificial snow and throw it all over Skye and Marshall!
After lots of fun playing with all the other kids, and throwing the artificial snow everywhere! We headed down to the Orient to grab a good spot to watch the Christmas Parade.
Intu Trafford Centre really turned children’s fantasies into reality bringing the brand new Magical Christmas Parade to the North West. The whole place was filled with music, dance and festive fun! Complete with princesses, princes, nutcracker dancers and traditional toy soldiers.
As we looked round the Orient it was filled with thousands of happy, smiling faces and the little ones were just blown away by seeing their favourite character’s pass them by in real life! The attention to detail of all the costumes, make-up, lights and decoration were all brilliant! The character’s were fantastic fun, and played a huge part in creating a magical atmosphere. As you looked up there was Santa’s sleigh with his reindeer’s floating above you, just perfect!
The Making Magical Memories Watching The Christmas Parade At Intu Trafford Centre was fantastic. To end on a high they had thousands of paper tissue snow flakes falling from the sky which was amazing, my son loved it!
There’s lots of events being held over the festive season, from visiting Santa’s Grotto to riding on the Intu Big Wheel. Plus loads of great shopping!
I’d love to hear about your family Christmas traditions. We started to make Gingerbread family decorations the other week if you’d like to take a look. Enjoy making your own magical memories 🙂
Love
