What a beautiful night to be able to sit in the garden and enjoy watching James and his daddy play footy. Our very own In the night garden experience but instead of dancing with Macca Pacca in the living room, which we do most nights 🙂 we were able to take all our nightly playtime routine outside, which was brilliant! Everyday I’m just amazed of how much James is growing physically and mentally, running up and down kicking the football shouting “goal” just makes me think, where’s my baby gone as he’s such an independent little boy now.
After lots of fun with daddy and a round of 1,2,3 catch I thought they had both worked up enough of an appetite to enjoy a small ice cream, and I really wanted one 😉 which James decided he would take into his little tent sit down and have a moment to savour every last bit.
I took a sneaky peak inside to see James studying every angle of his ice scream and savouring every mouthful saying “mummmmm” and his little hand was gripping onto the cone like his life depended on it!
Now with all the ice scream gone it’s time for round two! as you can see watering the garden is a really hard job and it takes a lot of concentration, awwww! and anything involving the use of water James is right there ready for action! 😉 No stopping him now he knows how to put the watering can under the water butt and fill it up, how quick they learn.
We had a lovely night in the garden and James thoroughly enjoyed every minute, especially using the watering can to water himself! at least it was perfect timing to get stripped off just before bath time. Enjoy the magic wherever your night garden experiences take you 🙂
